Mfuwe's unusual baby...!

One of Mfuwe Lodge's resident baboons recently gave birth to an unusual white baby. He is not an albino, but exhibits a condition called leucism, where normal pigments do not develop properly. Leucism can occur in many mammals and birds and seems to be not that rare in South Luangwa...though no-one knows why!
