The Bushcamp Company have been raising funds for a local school in Mfuwe

The money raised has gone to general building repairs

Andy Hogg of the Bushcamp Company inspects the condition of the building walls

The fund raising project is ongoing and will be used to 'fit out' the school once the buildings have been repaired

There is no shortage of local children who are eager to have a working school

These children live in deprived surroundings - their school is the most important part of their village for them

The children in Mfuwe may have little compared with many western children, but all have high spirits and a hunger for learning

The children of Mfuwe are very proud of their classroom

Schooling here in Mfuwe is taken very seriously by pupils and teachers alike

The school has received much needed desks

These desks are basic, but are much needed and help to build an academic feeling to the classroom environment

The best part of the day for these youngsters is when they are allowed to come into the classroom to learn
