2012 Fundraising Calendar Now Out
This is the sixth year we have produced our fund-raising calendar and again the paintings are from Chiwawatala Middle Basic School in the rural Mfuwe village on the edge of South Luangwa National Park in eastern Zambia. The children had various themes to choose from this year - my favourite animal, my village and of course South Luangwa National Park. The area has very limited resources and the school relies on donations and fund raising efforts for their survival and the winning entries have been printed (with the help of the U-Foundation).
With support from The U-Foundation, Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust and The Dreike Scolarship Fund the calendars are available at the Mfuwe Lodge shop (for $10), with all proceeds from the sale of this calendar going directly to various school projects.
